BENNINGTON — Emma Rose Boisvert, a family nurse practitioner, has joined the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Putnam Physicians and the SVMC Deerfield Valley campus in Wilmington, the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center has announced.

Boisvert received her master's of science in nursing from Simmons University in Massachusetts. She received both her associate's and bachelor's in nursing from Southern Vermont College. She has worked at SVMC as an inpatient nurse on the medical-surgical unit since 2015, and is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

SVMC Deerfield Valley Campus's board-certified physicians are a part of the Dartmouth-Hitchcock health system and have access to more than 1,200 primary and specialty care physicians and state-of-the-art-technology and services.

The practice offers primary care for patients of all ages. It is a Patient Centered Medical Home, as recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance and provides a number of preventive health services—including a diabetic education, nutrition counseling, mental health counseling, a substance abuse counseling, and a nurse case manager—all in one place. In addition to these services, the practice offers physical therapy, blood draw, and X-ray on site.

Currently undergoing a major renovation and addition, SVMC Deerfield Valley is located at 30 Route 100 South, Wilmington.
