A new exhibit dedicated to Prince is opening at Seattle’s MoPOP museum on April 6, the museum announced Friday (Feb. 15).
Prince from Minneapolis will be part of the museum’s general admission and will feature work from four photographers —Allen Beaulieu, Nancy Bundt, Terry Gydesen and Robert Whitman, all of whom shot the late icon in his early career. The exhibit will display almost 50 artifacts, including photos, artwork, a Prince guitar and outfits from the Purple Rain Tour and film.
Back in November, the Prince Estate and Sony Music Entertainment began releasing of a series of rare music videos from the archive, including clips from 1995’s The Gold Experience and 1996’s Chaos and Disorder.
