A man has appeared in court accused of killing Wolverhampton teenager Keelan Wilson.

The 15-year-old schoolboy died on May 29, 2018, after he was found with stab wounds following reports of a disorder in Langley Road, Merry Hill.

Brian Sasa, of Long Ley, Heath Town, was charged with murder on Wednesday, May 20, and appeared at Wolverhampton Magistrates’ Court the following day.

The 19-year-old, a citizen of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, was remanded in custody and was due to appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court today, Friday, May 22.

West Midlands Police said the "complex" investigation continued and appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

Det Insp Nick Barnes, from the force's homicide team, said: “This is a further significant development as we strive to get justice for Keelan and his friends and family.

“It’s a complex investigation and our enquiries continue, I’d still urge anyone with any information about the devastating and untimely loss of Keelan to get in touch with us."
