The people included are:

Oscar Ingram and Mohammed Amir Hussain

Police have released images of two men responsible for the murder of Ozell Pemberton.

Oscar Ingram, 21, and Mohammed Amir Hussain, 17, were found guilty of killing 16-year-old Ozell in Sutton Coldfield town centre on May 17.

Ingram was jailed for life and ordered to serve a minimum of 24 years, while Hussain was told he will serve at least 16 years.

Friends of Ozell watched in horror as he was confronted by Ingram and Hussain who were armed with knives.

Bungling robbers who stole an empty cash box from a security guard and parked their getaway car below a CCTV camera have been jailed.

One of them also left DNA all over drinks cans found by police in the stolen Ford Cougar.

Birmingham Crown Court heard the degree of planning after the raid on a guard collecting cheques from a Birmingham city centre council office was "non-existent".

Emad Suwaid and Shadab Zahir lay in wait for the guard in Woodcock Street on April 11.

Anib Khan, Harras Khan and Nahima Begum

Two brothers have been jailed for life for the murder of Taimoor Zaheer - killed in an execution-style killing in a Birmingham street.

The victim, 20, died immediately after being blasted by Anib Khan at close range as he sat in a car in Maxwell Avenue, Handsworth.

The drug dealer was caught on CCTV firing the shotgun into the car - driven by Taimoor Zaheer - who had been lured to his death by the killer and his older brother, Harras.

It was 'drug lord' Harras Khan who had handed the weapon to his brother before shouting: “Blast him, do it."

Nahima Begum, of Botha Road, Bordesley Green, was convicted of assisting an offender after driving Anib Khan to Dover in a bid to escape.

Gangster taunted police in rap videos

A Birmingham rapper jailed for arming himself with a shotgun brazenly told police they were watching him and bragged: “I might take a flight to Morocco.”

Maher Ali flaunted a 'gangsta' image in videos showing him surrounded by piles of cash, fast cars and a glamorous woman ironing his banknotes in a hotel room.

He also bragged: “My guns are filled with lead like a pencil.”

Ali, who uses the street name Young Smokes, flaunted the 'wavy' lifestyle in YouTube grime videos until West Midlands Police found the stolen Beretta shotgun in his car.

James Davies

Two women were killed when a van ploughed into their car - which had been PARKED in the fast lane of the M42.

James Davies, 71, had stopped his vehicle to ask a Highways Agency worker on the opposite carriageway for directions to Birmingham Airport.

But moments later a van ploughed into the back of the car, killing his two passengers - partner Christine Evans and Welshpool landlady Barbara Jones.

Davies pleaded guilty at Warwick Crown Court to causing the deaths of the two women by dangerous driving.

The pensioner, of Sguar Heulwen, Welshpool, was jailed for two years and four months at Warwick Crown Court.

Black Country fraudsters

Four Black Country fraudsters who ran a chain of upmarket Indian restaurants have been handed jail sentences over an £800,000 tax fraud.

Mohammed Sharif Uddin, 48, Mizanur Rahman, 44, Sadiqur Rahman, 45, all of Wednesbury, along with Abul Kamal, 41, of West Bromwich, lied about takings to evade more than £500,000 in tax at their Panache restaurants, including in Sutton Coldfeld.

All four men also stole another £295,000 in tax credits by lying about their income, an investigation by HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) revealed.

The Rhamans have now each been jailed for three years and Uddin and Kamal both received suspended two-year prison sentences.

All four men were also disqualified from acting as directors for a total of 24 years.

Two friends have been jailed for their roles in a £77 million hack on the TalkTalk website.

Matthew Hanley, 23, and Connor Allsopp, 21, both from Tamworth in Staffordshire, admitted charges relating to the massive data breach of customers' details in 2015.

At the Old Bailey, Judge Anuja Dhir QC jailed Hanley for 12 months and Allsopp for eight months.

She said it was a tragedy to find "two individuals if such extraordinary talent" in the dock.

County Lines drug gang

County Lines drug gang busted

A ‘County Lines’ drugs gang which supplied heroin and crack cocaine into market and spa towns from the West Midlands has been jailed for more than 40 years.

In an undercover sting, police from the West Midlands Regional Organised Crime Unit − alongside West Mercia Police − identified a gang of six people running drugs from Birmingham into Ledbury and Malvern.

Officers estimated the ‘Uzi Line’ − as it was known − supplied around 2kg of Class A drugs and made more than £150,000 over a 12-month period supplying 133 customers on its books.

Birmingham men Zoheeb Habib, Usman Rafiq, Atieb Osman and Mohinoor Rashid, plus Denise Lynch from Aston and Kane Payne from Oldbury, were jailed for a total of more than 40 years for conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.

A thug who repeatedly stabbed a tourist in a city centre chip shop has been jailed for 18 years.

Carlito Fearon swung a knife up to ten times at Daniel Stewart in the early hours attack.

The American's life was only saved thanks to the quick intervention of a paramedic.

Fearon, 21, of Benmore Avenue, Edgbaston , was found guilty of attempted murder following a trial at Birmingham Crown Court.

Warren Johnson, 21, of Kellet Road, Nechells , was cleared of attempted murder but convicted of wounding with intent and having a knife. He was sentenced to 14 years.

Leeroy Simpson and Zoe Gregory

Two robbers have been jailed after a councillor and his wife were slashed with a knife at their Handsworth grocery store.

Chaman Lal and his wife Vidya Wati were working at Uplands Fruits, in Sandwell Road, when Leeroy Simpson stormed in brandishing the weapon .

The thug and accomplice Zoe Gregory attacked and threatened Mr Lal, 65, and his 68-year-old wife - putting the butcher's knife to her throat - the terrifying incident can be seen in the video below.

The couple fled seconds later, leaving the pensioners needing hospital treatment for minor injuries.

Justin Seymour

Justin Seymour who has been jailed for stealing cars from gyms

A car thief who snatched keys from gym changing rooms has been jailed for five years.

Justin Seymour, of Boldmere Road in Sutton Coldfield , was linked to three offences this year at gyms across the region.

West Midlands Police said the first offence took place in May at a David Lloyd gym in Great Barr .

He broke into a locker and stole the keys to a Ford Fiesta car.

Andrew Bourke

A violent robber who bit and punched a woman before stealing her handbag has been jailed .

Drug user Andrew Bourke struck three times in Moseley – just yards from his home address – but fled with no more than a combined total of £20 and a packet of cigarettes.

The 38-year-old attacked a woman waiting at a bus stop in Alcester Road, near the Texaco petrol station, on the evening of May 6 and punched her in the face before biting her and trying to snatch her handbag.

A Good Samaritan intervened and recovered the bag as Bourke ran off with only the 36-year-old’s cigarettes.

Wesley Crawford

A mum told how she hid under a bedsheet with her son when a burglar broke into their home in the middle of the night.

The Wolverhampton woman was snoozing on the sofa with her four-year-old in the early hours when she was awoken by the sound of breaking glass.

The noise was Wesley Crawford, from Tettenhall Road in Chapel Ash , smashing his way in through a porch window.

He flashed a torch into the lounge as the terrified mum, fearing the intruder might harm her boy, cowered under a sheet and in whispered tones dialled 999 for police help.

James Johnson

A prisoner has been sentenced for killing his cellmate at HMP Hewell .

Inmate James Johnson threw a single punch at Luke Derriman in his cell at HMP Hewell in Redditch at approximately 3.05pm on January 23, 2018.

Derriman was discovered unconscious in his cell by prison staff and was taken to hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Johnson, 39, from Cheltenham, has been jailed for seven years after being found guilty of the manslaughter of Derriman, 39, and from Slough.

Danny Griffin

A crook who paid a mystery man money to take the blame for a bunch of speeding tickets has been jailed.

Danny Griffin paid the unidentified figure money to provide false details on four Notices of Intended Prosecutions from 2015 and 2016.

Officers from West Midlands Police’s Camera Enforcement Unit got wind of the con and launched an investigation.

Griffin, 43, of Newton Road, Great Barr , was arrested and pleaded guilty to four counts of perverting the course of justice at Wolverhampton Court last Wednesday.

Hazell Lumbley, Steven Henderson, Hayley Eaton

Three members of the same Black Country household have been sentenced for selling illegal cigarettes through Facebook .

Hazell Lumbley, her ex-partner Steven Henderson, and Hazell’s daughter, Hayley Eaton, were caught by HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) investigators, who were monitoring the adverts before raiding the family home in April 2017.

The trio, all unemployed, sold cigarettes from the then family home, in Darlaston Road, Wednesbury , and kept a meticulous 365-page diary of illegal sales.

At Wolverhampton Crown Court Lumbley was jailed for two years and three months, Henderson was jailed for two years and Eaton was handed a two-year community order and told she must carry out 120 hours of unpaid work.

Diane Wilson

A medical secretary has been jailed for stealing £385,000 from the doctors she worked for - and blowing it on holidays and posh cars.

Diane Wilson lived "completely beyond her means" as she siphoned off cash from her consultant surgeon bosses to more than double her salary for a decade.

She drove a Mercedes and a BMW, spent £20,000 on holidays and paid for private healthcare as she diverted payments from his patients into her own account.

And, when she lost one job and went to work for another consultant - she immediately began stealing from him as well.

Courtney Needham

A killer who was part of a gang which stoned a man to death in "Biblical fashion" has been sent back to jail for growing cannabis.

Courtney Needham was jailed for life for his part in the brutal killing of Andrew Burke in June 1999.

The Old Bailey heard the victim was pelted with stones and bricks by busy railway tracks in London in an act of vengeance for a murder he did not commit.

His body was then bundled into the boot of his car, driven to a remote location and set ablaze.

Jason Bannister

A police officer has been jailed for causing the death of a popular shopkeeper in December 2016.

Balvinder Singh was taken to hospital following a collision on Cannock Road, Wolverhampton , but died later the same day from his injuries.

The 59-year-old was driving his Mercedes Sprinter van when he was hit head on by a Hyundai, driven by off-duty Staffordshire Police officer Jason Bannister.

Bannister was treated for minor injuries and, following an investigation by West Midlands Police’s serious collision investigation team, was charged with causing death by dangerous driving earlier this year.

Malcolm Goodfellow

An uninsured Midland van driver was speeding at almost twice the limit when he ploughed into a dog walker - killing his two pets.

A judge heard Malcolm Goodfellow’s victim suffered life-changing injuries in the collision.

Despite pleading guilty to causing serious injury by dangerous driving, Goodfellow, from Tamworth , initially claimed he was only doing 30mph.

But on the day the case was listed at Warwick Crown Court for trial, he abandoned his claim after experts put his speed at between 50 to 57mph.

Russell Broughton

A "feared" violent thug has been jailed for breaking an order banning him from Castle Vale .

Russell Broughton - previously jailed in connection with a knife attack at a Birmingham city centre bar - was served with the order after terrorising residents.

But the 48-year-old, from Selly Oak, breached it by going into the estate twice in early August 2018.

He then went on the run as police hunted him in connection with criminal damage offences.

Joshua Beardmore

A man has been jailed for up to 18 years after being found guilty of attempting to rape an 11-year-old girl.

Joshua Beardmore, 25, of Glenthorne Avenue, Worcester, was found guilty of attempted rape and sexual assault by penetration.

The assault took place on 25 May 2018 in an alleyway off Barker Street in Worcester.

Beardmore grabbed the girl, sexually assaulted her and attempted to rape her.

Amir Hussain, Zain Islam and Hussan Yousaf

A brutal gang who ran a man off the road before stabbing him with a machete has been jailed for 43 years.

Amir Hussain, 23, knifed the victim twice after charging at him with a 12-inch blade on Coventry Road, Small Heath.

The victim had been driving his mother to a doctor's appointment when three men launched their vicious attack on May 22.

Hussain and his accomplices, Zain Islam and Hussan Yousaf - who are brothers - first chased the victim in a stolen pick-up truck.

Samuel Kelly

A ‘drunk’ thug who killed a teenager with a single punch in Tamworth has been jailed for seven years.

Wolverhampton Crown Court heard that Samuel Kelly, aged 25, had been involved in a confrontation with Liam Roche at McDonald’s in Ventura Park, Tamworth , just before midnight on January 22.

Kelly, of Coventry Road, Kingsbury, was described as behaving badly, shouting and drawing attention to himself, at the restaurant . Several witnesses said he was drunk and a friend asked him to calm down .

He became abusive to others in the restaurant and was described as being ‘drunk and angry with everyone’ by another witness.

Christopher Bateman

A man has been convicted of burglary after his DNA was found on a Pepsi bottle at the property.

Christopher Bateman had pleaded not guilty to raiding the Coventry house in July.

He claimed he had taken a drink from the bottle when he went to the address to pick up his daughter from there a couple of weeks earlier.

But magistrates rejected his account and found him guilty following a trial.

Joseph Mason

A serial fraudster who posed as two jockeys as part of a £25,000 bank scam has been jailed.

Joseph Mason withdrew cash from the accounts of Joseph Fanning and National Hunt jockey Richard Johnson to feed a gambling addiction.

On one occasion the defendant had also phoned Mr Johnson and told him that he was going to take money from his account - and that he was insured.

Mason, 40, of Brantley Avenue, Wolverhampton , who had previously admitted three charges of fraud, was sentenced to three years at Birmingham Crown Court.

Birmingham organised crime gang

A gang of greedy Birmingham men have been jailed for a total of 10 years following a foiled attempt to steal a cash machine containing a substantial sum of cash.

The crooks, who all appeared at Warwickshire Crown Court , were jailed for their role in an attempted theft from the petrol station in Haunchwood Road, Nuneaton, on September 26.

The four men, who were wearing balaclavas, arrived at the scene in a stolen Audi A6 .

But they were arrested by armed officers as they attempted to break into the machine using petrol powered cutting tools.

Jailed: Bin lorry driver who killed ballet loving schoolgirl, 14

A bin lorry driver who killed a 14-year-old girl in a horrific crash with a minibus as she went on a school trip has been jailed for three years and four months.

Ballet-mad Holly Brown died when the refuse truck driven by Nicholas Buck, (52), of Kingshurst Way, Kingshurst, rammed her minibus as she was going on an art visit to the Botanical Gardens.

At Birmingham Crown Court Buck, who had pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving was also disqualified him from driving for five years and eight months.

The crash happened on the A38 Kingsbury Road, Castle Vale on July 7 2017. Holly, who was a student at John Taylor High School in Barton Under Needwood, near Lichfield, was pronounced dead at the scene.

'Disabled' mum-of-two, 50, who tried to sue NHS for £2.5m over botched surgery caught partying in Ibiza

A mum who sued the NHS for £2.5m - claiming surgery left her unable to work and in constant pain - was rumbled after she was pictured at a hen party in Ibiza.

Lesley Elder claimed the operation left her unable to work or travel, but gave herself away when she posted photos from her daughter's bash on Facebook.

The unemployed mum said pain from the op had turned her into a reclusive shadow of her former self, but photos showed her "partying after midnight", a judge said.

Despite claiming severe disability, the-50-year-old was photographed in a club, wearing a straw hat and sash with her daughter, Tania Bunston, and other women.

Drugs gang caught shipping £1million crack and heroin

Five men who helped to run a £1 million drug supply chain between Birmingham and Warwick have been jailed for more than 22 years.

Michael Hedli, Steven Bicknell, Paul Hodgson and Ian Ward were found guilty of conspiring to supply heroin and crack cocaine at Warwick Crown Court.

Prosecutor Michael Shaw said the men were involved in a plan to supply drugs out of Birmingham to Warwickshire.

He added: “These men would supply you with crack or heroin – they weren’t bothered which, as long as you paid for it.

“There are two halves to this – the Birmingham end which was the source and the supply, and the Warwickshire end who would collect the drugs or have them delivered, and then supply them.”

Bus thug jailed for killing Wetherspoon barman

A violent thug who killed a popular pub worker with a single punch has been jailed for five years.

Shaun Addison struck the fatal blow as Matthew Powney was stood at a bus stop near The Malthouse pub in Willenhall, just after midnight on July 9.

The killer had got involved in a disagreement with others on the 529 bus, which had just pulled over, and then inexplicably lashed out.

CCTV showed him strike three men, including 31-year-old Mr Powney. The pub worker had no involvement in the original dispute - and just happened to be waiting at the bus stop in New Road, after finishing work at The Malthouse, owned by Wetherspoon.

Birmingham machete gang jailed

Birmingham armed robbers who threatened a security van driver with a machete before fleeing with cash have been jailed for almost 50 years.

The balaclava-clad gang targeted the van in Clifford Bridge Road, Coventry, before fleeing in a silver Mercedes on the morning of January 9 this year.

Armed masked robbers

Officers quickly traced their Mercedes and following a police pursuit it came to a stop in Minworth, near Sutton Coldfield.

Aaron Collins, Sean Walker and Daniel Ferris tried to flee the scene but were quickly arrested by officers.
