The white semi-detached property in Handsworth was still cordoned off on Thursday evening.

A 36-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody on Thursday night.

West Midlands Police said enquiries were ongoing to establish the exact circumstances around the man’s death.
