Former England and Leeds United full back Danny Mills has told Adama Traore he needs to start delivering a final product, if he is to succeed in the Premier League.

The criticism comes only days after arguably, the Spaniard's best performance in a Wolves shirt.

Traore, after coming on as a substitute at half time, tormented the United defence, with his perseverance ultimately winning the corner that led to Ruben Neves' wonderstrike.

But in a trope that is wheeled out all too regularly by spectators and pundits alike, Mills believes he is too wasteful in the final third.

“He’s got pace, he’s got power, he’s skilful, he’s got tricks, he’s got all sorts," he told Football Insider .

“He’s got to start delivering a final product, that’s what it comes down to. It doesn’t matter how great you are on the eye or for the cameras, you need a final product.”

In statistics compiled by Sky Sports , it was revealed that Traore is in fact, one of the most accurate crossers of a football in the Premier League. With his accuracy twice of that held by Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne.

Traore has this season been utilised as a wing back by Nuno Espirito Santo and last week starred in the 4-0 demolition of Pyunik in the Europa League.
