West Bromwich Albion are hoping to play further friendlies before the Championship’s resumption - and Manchester United could be an option.

Slaven Bilic’s men have recently returned to training and the Baggies are set to resume their promotion push on June 20.

They played a behind-closed-doors friendly with Aston Villa at Villa Park today, which reportedly ended 2-2.

January signing Kamil Grosicki and Croatian star Filip Krovinovic are said to have got on the scoresheet for Albion, while Keinan Davis and Jack Grealish notched for Villa.

It’s understood Bilic is targeting further warm-ups for his players and United have been earmarked as a potential opponent.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are one of a few teams under consideration with Albion intent on playing at least one more friendly before June 20.

West Brom’s last match came three months ago against Swansea City on March 7 and they still have nine games to play to win promotion to the Premier League.
