A look at the 25 best neighborhoods in Denver for millennials in 2019, according to Niche.com.

The Mile High City's growing tech industry, the proximity to outdoor recreation, and the increase in urban amenities are all playing a role in attracting young professionals.

It's no secret that Denver has become a millennial boomtown.

The Mile High City's growing tech industry, the proximity to outdoor recreation, and the increase in urban amenities are all playing a role in attracting this population segment.

So where are the best neighborhoods in Denver for these young professionals to settle?

Denver Business Journal consulted neighborhoods and schools website Niche, which uses U.S. Census data on age and education as well as other factors such as access to bars and restaurants, affordability and job opportunities to see which areas of the city are the most appealing to millennials.

For 2019, the No. 1 and No. 2 neighborhoods swapped places, compared to last year's data. And two neighborhoods, ranked at No. 24 and No. 25, are new compared to 2018. Another interesting tidbit is that the percentage of owners in the downtown Denver area has increased over last year.
