Boise State President Marlene Tromp Talks About A "New Era" In Idaho Higher Education

When Idaho’s State Board of Education announced this spring that Marlene Tromp would be the next president of Boise State University, the crowd at the Stueckle Sky Center erupted in applause. After more than a year-long search, the university would have a new leader. 

She started the job July 1, and her first few weeks in office came with some significant challenges. And as the school year begins next week, she’ll have her hands full working to serve students coming from all corners of the state and beyond.
