Darbar: Rajinikanth and Nayanthara head to Jaipur for the final schedule of this AR Murugadoss directorial

Superstar Rajinikanth and AR Murugadoss collaborate for the first time and the film has been titled Darbar. Rajinikanth will be seen playing a cop in Darbar and would be sporting the Khakhi after almost two decades. The shooting of the film has already begun and the makers have shot at various locations in Chennai and Mumbai. The shooting has now neared completion as the last leg of shooting kicks off in Jaipur. Rajinikanth and Nayanthara have headed to The Pink City to finish the final schedule of shooting for Darbar. A picture of the lead pair is going viral on social media in which they are seen seated in a plane heading to Jaipur. Fans are now kicked about Darbar which is slated to be released in January 2020. Darbar also stars Nivetha Thomas and the Paapanasanam actress will be seen playing Rajinikanth's daughter in the plot. Photos from the shooting sets of Darbar revealed that Nivetha is part of the project and was seen alongside Rajinikanth. Bollywood actor Pratiek Babbar will be seen playing the antagonist in Darbar while Sacred Games fame actor Jatin Sarna will be seen in a brief role. The makers of Darbar recently revealed the title poster of the film which featured Rajinikanth. The superstar was seen sporting police uniform and fans of Thalaiva are excited to see him playing a cop on the large screen.

Darbar will have cinematography by Santosh Sivan while the music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Produced by Lyca Productions, Darbar is slated to be released worldwide during Pongal 2020.
