WEDDED bliss is coming to the banks of the Haining Loch.

Since the Palladian mansion, which dates back to the late 1800s, was gifted to the people of Selkirkshire almost a decade ago it has gradually grown as a favourite venue for happy couples tying the knot.

But now the charitable trust who manage the Haining are looking out their hats to host their very first wedding fair.

On Sunday, September 16 the local professionals who make sure every wedding goes without a hitch will be on hand to guide bride-and-grooms-to-be.

A spokesman for The Haining Charitable Trust told us: "Our Wedding Fair will allow everyone the chance to meet our trusted suppliers and view this amazing venue that we have.

"The Haining offers the perfect wedding venue and the professional companies who can help make the day even more special will be available for a chat throughout Sunday."

The A-listed mansion, which is set in 150 acres of land, has undergone major renovations over the past seven or eight years.

And has become a hugely popular venue for events.

As well as being able to look around the venue itself, couples can meet florists, dress suppliers, groom outfitters, hair stylists, interior stylists, cake makers and even make-up artists during Sunday's event.

Ahead of Sunday's Wedding Fair the mansion will be dressed by Something Borrowed and flower displays will be provided by Stems.

The Haining Wedding Fair at the Haining on Sunday takes place between 11am and 4pm.
