Shark caught on video hunting off Cape Cod

The recording was captured earlier this week.

Another shark has been spotted on Cape Cod, this time on the prowl.

The Atlantic White Shark Conservancy shared a video on Tuesday of a shark hunting off Head of the Meadow Beach in Truro. According to the conservancy, the footage was captured on Monday.

The catch continues a string of shark sightings this summer. The Boston Globe reported that there have been at least 65 beach closures on the Cape and Islands due to shark spotting since the beginning of July, 48 of which happened after Aug. 1.
