Authorities announce arrest, identify victim after 27-year-old woman stabbed to death in Framingham

The woman found stabbed to death in her Framingham home Monday evening has been identified, and her boyfriend is being charged with murder, according to authorities.Christopher McKoy, 25, of Brockton, had allegedly been with the victim, Jamee Ammons-Maddrey, 27, the night before and on Monday morning. Officials obtained more evidence that was enough to charge McKoy, they said. He’s being charged with murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury, a news release from the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office said.It was around 5:30 p.m. Monday that police found Ammons-Maddrey dead in her Interfaith Terrace home from what appeared to be multiple stab wounds, according to the release. A member of the victim’s family had been unable to contact her or get into her home; they called police for a well-being check.Police believe McKoy stabbed Ammons-Madrey multiple times before fleeing the scene. He was arrested on Tuesday in Boston for allegedly removing a GPS monitor in connection with a case in Suffolk County and is being held. A warrant was issued Tuesday out of Framingham District Court in connection with the stabbing; his arraignment hasn’t been scheduled yet.
