3 Boston residents die in New Hampshire rollover crash
The crash on I-89 in New London remains under investigation.
Three Massachusetts residents have been identified by authorities as the victims of a deadly rollover crash that occurred over the weekend in New Hampshire.Sharon Nowrocki, 44, of West Roxbury, and a married couple from Roslindale, 57-year-old Angelo and 56-year-old Kelly Rossi, were killed in the crash in New London on Sunday morning, according to New Hampshire State Police.Police said the three Bay State residents were traveling northbound on I-89 when the crash occurred just before 11:30 a.m. The vehicle rolled over, and the three Boston residents were ejected from the car. Two of the victims died at the scene, while the third was taken to a local hospital where they later died of their injuries.Authorities said the preliminary investigation indicates the vehicle was in the left travel lane at the time of the crash.“Information was obtained that another vehicle may have merged into the left hand lane in front of the vehicle involved in the crash,” police said. “The vehicle involved in the crash subsequently swerved and lost control.”The vehicle went into the highway median where it rolled over an “undetermined number of times,” ejecting all its occupants. Police said it is believed that none of the victims were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.“At this time it does not appear that impairment was a factor, however all aspects remain under investigation,” police said.According to NECN, Nowrocki was the niece of the couple and the manager for more than 20 years of the Dunkin’ on Spring Street in West Roxbury.“She taught me my work ethic,” Lauren Katsiroubas, a cousin and former Dunkin’ co-worker, told the station. “She was a manager that cared so much about her employees.

The three family members were on their way to Vermont to check on Nowrocki’s mother during the heat wave, NECN reports.
According to WMUR, Sunday’s crash brought the number of people killed on New Hampshire roadways in the previous 30 days to 21.
