The National Weather Service posted a map Monday morning with observed total snowfall as of 8 a.m. Northern Plymouth County and the upper Cape got the most.

“Mainly just pockets of flurries late this morning besides for an area of steadier snow across portions of [Rhode Island/southeastern Massachusetts],” the National Weather Service said at 10:45 a.m. “Meanwhile, snow across [New York state] will drop southeast and may bring a coating to 2 inches of additional snow accumulation this afternoon.”
