A man wanted for the shooting death of two men last summer in Brighton has been arrested and is facing murder charges out of Suffolk Superior Court.

Nicolas Antonie, 20, of Roxbury was found in a trailer park in Jonesboro, Ga., on Friday, Boston police said.

He was placed in custody with the help of law enforcement partners and members of the US Marshals, according to police.

The warrant out of Suffolk Superior Court alleges that Antonie shot and killed Wilfred Peters, 26, of Brighton and Jeffrey Montaque, 27, of Cambridge at about 12:41 a.m. by Faneuil and Brackett Streets.

Police identified Antonie as a wanted suspect on July 26.

“Members of the Homicide and Fugitive Units worked tirelessly on this case to not only identify the suspect who was responsible, but to track him down and arrest him while he was hiding in a trailer park in Georgia,” Commissioner William G. Gross said in a statement. “I commend the great work of the Homicide Unit and the Fugitive Apprehension Unit for bringing justice to the families who lost their loved ones.”
