DEVON born comedian Andy Ford takes us back to the halcyon days of a much simpler time.

His show is all about when cheeky songs and comedy were delivered by Mr. Adge Cutler - the original King of the Wurzels.

Don’t Tell I, Tell ‘EE is a brand new production of Adge’s songs performed by West Country pantomime legend Andy Ford.

North Somerset born Alan John Cutler created a whole new world of humour and yokel culture with his funny songs about West Country life and local places.

In fact he was the first localised comedy/folk performer to burst onto the national stage many years before Mike Harding, Jasper Carrot, Max Boyce, Billy Connelly and so on.

After discovering him via record and on his radio in the 60’s Andy loved the Adge Cutler and the Wurzels songs and even learned to play the banjo so that he could perform them himself.

Andy’s tribute to this regional icon who passed away in a tragic car accident in 1974 is joyfully presented as an Adge Cutler and the Wurzels show always would have been.

Adge and a band will be on stage playing iconic singalong ditties interspersed with comedy quips and West Country banter, all delivered in rip roaring style.

Joining Andy will be his live backing band, The Scrumpies.

Don’t Tell I, Tell ‘EE, tours this autumn in the West Country.

You can see Andy Ford in Bridgwater at the McMillan Theatre on September 26 at 7:30pm.

Tickets for the show cost £18.50.
