PUB fans in Bridgwater are being encouraged to check out a new venue.

The former Brewers Fayre pub, in Bristol Road, has been transformed into the King Sedgemoor Inn Cookhouse and Pub.

A £600,000 refurb has taken place, which has seen the interior and exterior of the pub renovated.

A spokesperson for the pub and restaurant said people could expect top-quality 'informal dining and drinking'.

"Combining the relaxed vibe and affordability of a pub with the quality of food and service of a casual restaurant is the new and impressive King Sedgemoor Inn Cookhouse and Pub, in Bristol Road," they said.

"The new pub restaurant had a significant investment, a total of circa £600k spent on renovating the interiors and exterior of the building.

"The King Sedgemoor Inn Cookhouse and Pub opened its doors to the public on July 18 with fresh and bold contemporary interiors and a delicious all-day menu, Cookhouse and Pub is quickly establishing itself as Bridgwater’s go-to destination for informal dining and drinking."
