An investigation has been launched after a car was set alight in Bishopsworth.

Crews were called to Coldpark Road at just after 7am today to reports of a silver Renault Clio on fire.

Firefighters from Bedminster tackled the fire wearing breathing apparatus and using high pressure hose reel jets.

The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.

Police attended and are now investigating the incident.
