The RAF's Tornado jets will fly over Bristol today (February 20) as part of their farewell tour.

The famous fleet, which will retire from service at the end of March, will make a series of farewell flights across Britain this week.

They started their tour of Britain yesterday (February 19) at Cottesmore, and will finish tomorrow (February 21) at RAF Lossiemouth.

They will fly over Bristol today, heading towards Filton and then Abbey Wood, before making their way to MOD Shrivenham between 2.15pm and 2.30pm.

Since entering service back in 1979, the jets have been used in operations across the world, including more recently in Syria and Iraq.

You can follow updates on today's flypast below.

Last week, the new Airbus Beluga XL 'whale plane' flew over Bristol as it made its way north from France, including a spectacular moment over the Severn Bridge. You can relive the day as it happened here, or take a look at some of the best pictures.
