Police are calling for witnesses to help their investigation into a suspected stabbing in Brislington.

Shortly before 8.30pm on February 15 a 'disturbance' took place outside the McDonald's restaurant opposite Brislington Park and Ride which left two people injured.

One teenager received a serious cut to his arm while another received a cut to his back. One of them remains in hospital.

A 16-year-old boy was arrested at the scene on suspicion of wounding and police have today (February 17) revealed a 17-year-old boy was also arrested last night, on the same charge.

Both have since been released on police bail, pending further enquiries.

A police car was seen outside the restaurant this morning (Saturday, February 16)

The teenager with the back injury has been released from hospital but the second injured teen is still receiving treatment.

Avon and Somerset Constabulary are now appealing for witnesses to help with their enquiries.

A spokesperson for the force said: "We are appealing for witnesses to the incident.

"We would particularly like to hear from anyone who may have captured the incident on a car dash cam or mobile phone.
