A waitress said she "couldn't stop crying" after a customer gave her a ticket to the Bristol Spice Girls concert as a tip.

Zenna Devadason was serving a table of three women at Three Brothers Burgers on the day of the concert (June 10).

The 22-year-old got chatting to the mum, daughter and daughter's friend and discovered they had tickets to see the legendary girl group at Ashton Gate.

"They were really lovely and we got on really well," she said.

"I asked what they are doing today and one of them said they were going to see the Spice Girls.

"I said I had tried to get tickets but missed out."

The waitress was then left in tears as the mum gave her a spare ticket as a tip, saying she "deserved to have a good time".

"I started crying and asking whether she was serious," she said.

"I couldn't believe it. It's the best tip I have ever received.

"I was over the moon. Everyone I was working with was so happy."

Ms Devadason now wants to properly thank the generous customer after having an "amazing" time at the concert.

"The Spice Girls were amazing despite the rain - it was one of the best concerts I've ever been too," she said.

"I want to say thank you to the woman properly."

The manager of Three Brothers Burgers has taken to Facebook in a bid to track down the mum.

"Zenna was working in Three Bros yesterday and was serving a table of three - a mum, daughter and daughters friend," a Facebook post reads.

"She got chatting with them and they said they were super excited as they were off to see The Spice Girls that night!

"Zenna said she’d tried to get tickets but missed out. Then the lovely mum said they had a spare and that Zenna could have the ticket!

"So Zenna went along and had an awesome girl power kinda night!

"We would LOVE to invite that group back for a meal, on us, as a thank you!"
