Footage has been captured showing luggage being thrown off a plane by a baggage handler.

The act is believed to have taken place at Vienna International Airport following an easyJet flight from Bristol Airport, according to the Daily Star.

A stunned passenger filmed the scenes from another plane before sharing the clip on social media.

She wrote: “@easyjet I get that you are a low-cost company but this is no way to treat the luggage of people that have paid extra to get their luggage checked.”

The employee in the footage can be seen picking up bags and hurling them onto a nearby trailer. It is not known who they were working for.

The registration on the plane reads G-EZBI, suggesting it flew from Bristol to Vienna yesterday (October 14), based on data on FlightRadar24.

The video was posted on Twitter at 4.34pm UK time, 20 minutes after the plane appears to have landed in Vienna.

An EasyJet spokeswoman told Daily Star Online: “We work closely with all of our airport partners to ensure our passengers’ bags are handled securely and quickly.

"We apologise if it didn’t feel if this was the case to the customer in this instance.”

Daily Star contacted Vienna airport for comment.
