Commonwealth Games silver medallist Jazmin Sawyers has hit the Twitter social media admin for Bristol City with a great comeback after replying to one of the club's tweets earlier on Tuesday.

The @BristolCity Twitter account tweeted a picture of giant central defender Tomas Kalas towering over a Wolves’ defender during the close-fought FA Cup clash that took place on Sunday, which Bristol City unfortunately lost 1-0.

The picture was captioned: “Have you ever seen a man jump this high?”

And Twitter users then had a field-day when responding.

Local basketball side, Bristol Flyers replied with an abrupt “Yes.” - attached to a picture of their number one, Daniel Edozie, slam-dunking over a hopeless defender.

But it was Sawyers who had the best response.

The 2014 Commonwealth Games medallist, who studied at the University of Bristol, before representing her nation in the Long Jump category fired back: “Boy, do I have a sport to tell you about”.

Bristol City have become famed in the last few seasons for their creative social media team, but are yet to respond to Sawyers' message.

Sawyers most recently finished in a podium spot at the 2016 European Championships, where she earned another Silver medal.

In addition to this, she has represented Great Britain in the Bobsleigh event during the 2012 Innsbruch Winter Youth Olympics, where she again earned a Silver medal finish.

But fair play to Tomas Kalas, too. That was a pretty high jump.
