Bristolians can win a free ticket to The Downs Festival this summer by ordering from Oowee Diner or Oowee Vegan.

On June 14, customers ordering from two of the filth burger chains stores will be in with the chance of discovering a free ‘golden ticket’ in their delivery.

Orders must be from the city centre vegan diner in Baldwin Street or the Picton Street store in Montpelier.

Lucky winners of a ticket will have the opportunity to see the locally-formed punk bank Idles, music legends Madness, and other talents including Ms. Lauryn Hill and Grace Jones.

Verity Foss, one of Oowee’s owners, said: “The Downs team are good friends of ours and we were super excited to team up and help some loyal customers win some tickets. This year’s line up is amazing, it’s a great event.”

The two-day party on the Clifton Downs will take place from August 31 to September 1 2019.

Tom Pain, co-founder of the Downs Festival said: “We’re really excited to team up with Oowee on this one, it’s a great way for a large demographic of people to win tickets. This is the third year we’ve now put this festival on and we wanted to say thanks to Bristol for supporting us and the work we do.”

The festival has welcomed thousands through its gates over the past three years and has boasted some of the biggest names in music with last year’s headliners including Noel Gallagher and Paul Weller.

For each ticket sold, £1 goes directly back into the upkeep of the Downs which is a popular landmark for locals and visitors of the city alike.
