BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – Clint Mock, 38, of Baton Rouge died after the vehicle he was travelling in hit a guardrail.
Mock was pronounced dead at the scene which was on Airline Hwy.
The investigation into the crash started a little after midnight on Friday, August 14.
LSP says Mock was driving a 2020 Jaguar F-Pace south on Airline Hwy. when the vehicle veered off the roadway “and struck a guardrail.”
Mock was wearing a seat belt at the time but did not survive the crash.
Investigators did take a toxicology sample from Mock.
Louisiana State Troopers wish to remind motorists that all occupants in a vehicle must be restrained, regardless of seating position. While not all crashes are survivable, statistics show that the chances of surviving a crash rise significantly when properly restrained. Making good choices while in motor vehicles such as never driving while impaired and always ensuring every occupant is properly restrained can often mean the difference between life and death.
