BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – 21-year-old Christopher Golmond, of 7624 Maplewood Dr. was taken into custody on Thursday, July 30.
BRPD says, Golmond was arrested “for the shooting death of Deontre Phillip, 20 that occurred at Tim’s Food Mart, 824 North Ardenwood, on June 12.”
The arrest was made after detectives compiled evidence via investigative work and the 21-year-old man is currently in the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
Goldmond is facing one count of 1st Degree Murder.
