BATON ROUGE, La. (LOCAL 33/FOX 44) – Parish leaders are keeping a close eye on Tropical Storm Cristobal.
Right now, most of the Baton Rouge area is under a flood watch ahead of Cristobal.
Kristen Miles said she’s concerned about South Acadian.
“Sometimes it worries me. I got lucky in 2016 that it didn’t come over the curb,” said Miles.
South Acadian is an area of Baton Rouge known to flood.
East Baton Rouge Parish leaders say get your game plan together now before a storm.
Ascension Parish leaders are also keeping an eye on the storm.
Miles added, “All you can do is be prepared. Stay safe.”
