Berries aren't the only thing you can pick in Vermont this summer. Sunflowers dot farms around the Green Mountain State from August to October.

Some spots have options to pick your own bunch, while others maintain fields of the sunny flowers where you can walk, snap photos or just take it all in. If you're looking to up your family portrait game or your kitchen counter decor, here's where to go:

  • Charlotte Berry Farm: In addition to the pick-your-own berries (blueberries are currently in season), you can pick sunflowers and purchase pies, creemees and other treats. Located at 4702 Ethan Allen Highway in Charlotte. (802) 425-3652
  • Isham Family Farm: The farm is bursting with activity from wagon rides to weddings to pick-your-own berries. You can also find pumpkins and a sunflower maze in the fall. Located at 3517 Oak Hill Road in Williston. 802 872-1525 or ishamfamilyfarm@yahoo.com.
  • St. Albans Town Industrial Park Field:The St. Albans Sunflower Festival takes place in early August here but visitors should see flowers even after the event wraps up. Located on Industrial Park Road in St. Albans City.
  • St. Albans Bay: This field is also viewing only so make sure to bring your camera. Located on Georgia Shore Road north of Mill River Road in St. Albans Town.
  • Rusty Iron Ranch: A spot for pick-your-own sunflowers and fall activities like leaf peeping. Located at 7588 Spear St., Shelburne in Shelburne. 802-985-9475

Not all locations take card so it's a good idea to have some cash on hand when you set out for your farm adventure.
