Here are all the people running for Vermont governor in 2020

As the 2020 election in Vermont gets closer, candidates are throwing their hats in the ring for Vermont's highest office.

Vermont's current governor, Republican Phil Scott, is seeking a third two-year term.

Below is a round-up of everyone who has announced his or her candidacy so far. This story will be updated as more candidates join the race.

Name: Ralph "Carcajou" Corbo

About: Employed by the U.S. Postal Service. Activist who disrupted Gov. Phil Scott's inaugural speech in 2019

About: Former teacher, principal and Vermont Secretary of Education under Gov. Peter Shumlin and Gov. Phil Scott.

About: Peters formerly ran as an independent candidate for governor in 2014. He is a Vietnam War veteran who worked for the Vermont Agency of Transportation for 36 years, according to a press release from 2014. He is currently retired.
