While Vermonters got snubbed on a snowy holiday season, they can finally grab their skis and warm hat for today and this weekend's frosty burst. As of Jan. 16, much of the state remained under a winter weather advisory and was expected to receive anywhere between 2 and 6 inches of snow by the end of the storm, the National Weather Service said.

Throughout Chittenden County, millennials and boomers alike couldn't help but hop on Instagram and Twitter to relish in and share pictures of their state's beauty.
