VERMONT

Calling all poets: Here's how to get your poetry hung in Vermont shop windows

Vermont's many poets and writers have an opportunity this winter to get their poems in front of shoppers, pedestrians and politicians.

Montpelier and Randolph are calling for submissions for their annual PoemCity and PoemTown celebrations. Winning poems will be displayed in the windows and doors of churches, shops and organizations around town during the month of April, which is National Poetry Month.

Wes Braden reads a poem in 2016 at Browns River Middle School’s Sleep Out in Jericho to benefit Spectrum Youth & Family Services.

So summon your muse, poets, and get ready to submit your best work.
