Business Insider compiled surveys from five reputed sources — Republic-C Voter, NDTV - Hansa, Today's Chanakya, India Today-Axis, and TimesNow - VMR — amongst many others and the final number is an average of these five polls.

Comprising the Island groups of Andaman and Nicobar and located in the juncture of Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea, this is one of the seven union territories of India. Totaling to 572 Islands, 37 of them are inhabited. The number of eligible voters in the Island as per the latest statistics are 2,95,018 comprising of 1,55,383 males and 1,39,624 females. There are 11 third gender voters registered in the Islands.

Over the past two general elections in 2014 and 2009, the BJP won from this constituency. The Congress party won from here only in 2004 elections. Over the past, Andaman and Nicobar Islands constituency is seeing a fight between the BJP and the Congress party. The present MP from the seat is Bishnu Pandey Ray of BJP who won over Congress Party’s Manoranjan Bhakta.

Andaman and Nicobar has one Lok Sabha seat to give the parliament. There are no reserved seats in the union territory of Andaman and Nicobar. During the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the single constituency of Andaman and Nicobar Islands went for polling in single phase on April 11 and now waiting for the results to see who the Island is sending to the Parliament to represent the constituency.
