There are hour-long delays on the A14 this morning after a two-lorry crash has closed the road (June 26).

One lane of the A14 Eastbound at J23 A141 (Spittals Interchange) is closed due to the accident, involving two lorries.

Lane one (of two) has been closed since around 6.15am following the accident at the bottom of the entry slip road. It is also affecting traffic along the A1(M) Spur Road and A141 heading towards Spittals Interchange

There is congestion to J22 (Brampton) on the A14 and back to the A1(M) along the Spur Road. Also back to Ermine Street Roundabout on the A141.

Cambridgeshire police are in attendance at the scene of the collision.

There are severe delays in the area ahead of rush hour this morning and travel time is around 60 minutes.

There are currently around four miles of queueing traffic so drivers are being warned of long delays on approach.
