Ely has its second ever Pride today (August 10th) and we're here celebrating to bring you the latest.

Come down for the celebrations running from 10am-4pm at The Maltings Green on Ely Riverside, Ship Lane, Ely, Cambridgeshire, CB7 4BB.

There are stalls for food, drink, LGBTQ+ organisations, Pride themed cocktails, Jack's gelato, paella, as well as the therapy business Positively Treated.

The Pride committee have a contingency plan in place for if the winds get as fierce as the forecast warns, so don't be put off but maybe use extra strong glue for that glitter!

Fecility Flappes will be there to welcome us head down for the packed programme on mainstage, or the acoustic stage round back.

The fun is family friendly, and 4th Dimension, the youth dance troupe will be featuring a specially choreographed danced for the occasion. Even local celeb Nigel Murfitt will be bringing queer 'herstory' to the stage.

But don't trail off too soon, the end act is a Freddie Mercury tribute band to send us off in style!

Then stick around for the after party, 7-2am at the Riverside Bar and Kitchen where Felicity Flappes will baring all post-watershed and 3 DJ's will help that glitter off.

See our write up of the full programme here.
