A loved-up mystery pilot was seen drawing love hearts across the blue skies of Cambridge this Valentine's Day (February 14, 2019).
The smoke trail love note to the city could be seen from miles around when it appeared seemly 'out of the blue' sky this afternoon, near Newmarket Road.
Dozens of Cambridgeshire Live readers shared videos and pictures, as well as their delight, at the romantic gesture.
One mum described the surprise sight as "really beautiful", adding that it "Made my day, and my twins and mum, thank you to that lovely man."
Another woman was overcome with emotion, she exclaimed, "love is in the air" and "love is everywhere."
Meanwhile one city gent said it was "a great sight".
The identity of the mystery Valentine, who drew several love hearts as well as a smiley face, is not known.
