Chilling CCTV footage of hooded men entering a drug dealer's house before they murdered him in cold blood has been released by police.

The five men were spotted walking into Przemsyslaw Golimowski's flat in St Mary's Street at around 2am on Friday, September 28, after a dispute between rival drug dealers.

The 30-year-old was asleep in bed with his partner when the five intruders broke into his flat and began attacking him with a knife and a golf club.

He was able to flee into a neighbouring flat in an attempt to escape the attack but collapsed from his injuries.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The CCTV images appear to show the five men walk into the flat. The five attackers were all linked to the supply of drugs.

Damien Rooney, 25, of Magpie Gardens, Wixams, Taleb Hussain, 31, of Park Road, Birmingham, and Delpierro Mothersill, 20, of Salcombe Close, Bedford, were all convicted of murder at Luton Crown Court yesterday (April 15).

Today they were each sentenced to life imprisonment and must serve a minimum of 26 years.

Also at Luton Crown Court yesterday, Philip Mendy, 23, of Tavistock Place, Bedford, and Jamal Jeng, 21, of The Close, Clapham, were convicted of manslaughter, and were today sentenced to 12 years in prison each.

Mothersill was known as a drug runner for Hussain and Rooney.

The day beforethe incident, Mothersill was attacked and robbed at another address in Bedford by Golimowski and another man with a pool cue.

Subsequent enquiries by police suggested that Golimowski was a drug dealer himself and had been behind a number of robberies from rival dealers.

Hussain, Rooney, Mendy and Mothersill all left Golimowski's flat via the same rear entrance through which they had broken in, which led out onto Duck Mill Lane.

However, Jeng left via the front of the address, having suffered a stab wound to his right leg during the altercation.

He left a blood trail from inside the property which ran until about 400 metres away.

It was at this spot that Jeng called for an ambulance.

Jamal Jeng

CCTV and analysis of mobile phone activity placed Jeng and the other four together in the run up to the attack.

Earlier in the day, CCTV from Bicester Shopping Village clearly showed Hussain, Jeng and Mendy together at the site before heading back to Bedford.

Hussain, Rooney, Jeng, Mendy and Mothersill were captured together by CCTV at Wodka Live in St Paul’s Square less than two hours before the attack.

Automatic number plate recognition also captured a vehicle linked to Hussain driving around the town on multiple occasions.

Philip Mendy

As they entered Golimowski’s address through Duck Mill Lane, CCTV captured five men matching the descriptions and clothing of the five men when they were caught on CCTV at Wodka Live.

The same camera also caught Hussain, Rooney, Mendy and Mothersill as they fled from the scene.

With Jeng having been arrested and charged, Hussain was arrested in Birmingham and his car forensically examined. Officers found traces of Golimowski’s blood in the back of the vehicle.

Hussain’s palm print was also found on the bannister leading up to the entrance to Golimowski’s flat.

Detective Chief Inspector Adam Gallop, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit, led the murder investigation.

He said: "This was a thorough, professional and meticulous investigation, which pieced together multiple pieces of evidence to leave the jury with no doubt as to who was responsible for this murder.

"These five men broke into that flat last year with one intention: to kill Przemsyslaw Golimowski. That kind of intent is incredibly dangerous and warrants the significant sentences we have seen today.

"This case also highlights the dangers that come from dealing in drugs. All six men involved in this case were involved in drugs supply; all six have had their lives destroyed as a result of it.

"Drugs underpin so much of the most serious, violent and harmful crime we see across the country.

"Cases like this should serve as a chilling reminder to all involved in drugs gangs about the consequences of such a dangerous lifestyle."
