Good afternoon and welcome to Valley Parade for Cambridge United's clash with Bradford City in League Two.
Games don't get much bigger than this. On paper, it's one of the toughest fixtures of the season, but it gives United the chance to lay down a marker as Colin Calderwood starts his first full campaign in charge of the club.
The visitors will be buoyed by around 14,000 home fans as they look to return to League One at the first time of asking.
In injury news, Gary Deegan [illness], Harvey Knibbs [heel] and Louis John [shoulder] will all miss out.

Donaldson - while going for the ball - totally wiped Mitov out. Thankfully he’s alright. Donaldson is booked.

Bradford are moving the ball around well, but United’s are matching them, with Taft forcing Devine into a snapshot which goes wide.

Bradford are getting closer here, with Vaughan inches away from turning in Devine’s cross.

The Reading loanee has looked good since his introduction. A snap shot has just earned United’s a corner.

After a really heavy challenge on Hannant, Donaldson was able to break. O’Neil took him out from behind. After a long chat with his linesman, the referee flashed a red card. Very, very harsh.

O’Neil is sent off for a foul on Donaldson. That seems incredibly harsh. He clearly reacted to what he thought was a foul moments before that. The referee has lost control of this.

O’Neil won the ball back before picking out Hannant. The winger put in a decent ball towards Ibehre, who couldn’t really make a proper connection.

End to end, but really stop-start. The referee is pretty much blowing for everything, which isn’t helping.
HT: Bradford City 0-0 Cambridge United
I think anyone would have taken that at 3pm. A performance that has ebbed and flowed, but one that’s been solid enough. There’s been a few half-chances for Andrew Dallas, while City have also had one or two moments. United took the crowd out of the game, which was important, and most of Bradford’s efforts have been from distance. A bit of luck has come into it too, with Vaughan’s overhead kick coming off the crossbar, but, as a whole, it’s been pretty decent from Calderwood’s men.

Vaughan got across his man but scuffed his header into the ground and the ball bounced over the crossbar. Big let off.

Bradford are just starting to find the space here. They haven’t come any closer to scoring though, with Palmer this time smacking the ball into the empty stand behind Mitov.
