This place is perfect for couples.

From start to finish it offers a dining experience you'll never forget.

The restaurant itself is small and intimate and the staff are knowledgeable about the menu and wines.

We wouldn't be surprised if Restaurant 22 wins a Michelin Star - and if it doesn't it certainly deserves one.

The Senate

The Senate boasts stunning views of King's Parade

Even if you took away the iconic view of King's Parade and Great St Mary's Church from the bistro's front window, we'd still be enamoured with The Senate.

Its delicious Mediterranean-style menu and impressive wine list are just begging for you to spend the evening sipping on rosé and nibbling on cheese and charcuterie boards.

We recently stopped by for lunch and were delighted by the lovely blue tiles covering the walls, which lend the spot a relaxing, carefree ambience.

We took a spot by the window to admire the quintessential Cambridge view, which also includes outdoor bistro tables that would be ideal in the summer.
