WAUWATOSA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee man is facing charges after police say he injured an officer.
Dashcam video shows the dramatic arrest in Wauwatosa.
Police say 28-year-old Terrion Taylor got into a fight with the mother of his kids and jumped on the hood of her car on Wednesday, Oct. 2 near 76th and Courtland Avenue.
According to a criminal complaint, an officer saw Taylor kneeling on the hood of the car, punching the windshield repeatedly, and pulled the car over.
Police say Taylor tried to break the passenger side window as the officer spoke with the driver.
According to the complaint, Taylor began hitting the officer with a closed fist, while trying to grab the officer's equipment on his duty belt. Dashcam video shows the officer and Taylor fighting on the ground.
He was eventually arrested.
The driver told police she lives with Taylor, and the two got into a fight over Taylor being late to take her to pick up their kids.
The officer sustained multiple cuts and abrasions to his hand, fingers, and knee, according to court documents.
He's charged with disorderly conduct and resisting an officer, causing injury.
In an interview with authorities, Taylor admitted to having anger issues that he needs to work on.
