CBS joins dozens of news organizations in "Covering Climate Now" initiative
This week, CBS News is joining hundreds of news organizations worldwide in a project called "Covering Climate Now." A CBS poll out Sunday shows more than 6 in 10 Americans see climate change as a crisis or serious problem. For our series "Eye on Earth", Debora Patta reports on an unprecedented expedition called MOSAiC, which will set off in the Arctic later this week to find out why the ice is melting so fast.
