UFC returned to pay-per-view on Saturday night with UFC 250 emanating from the Apex facility in Las Vegas. Heading into the event, Amanda Nunes was aiming for more history as she set her sights on becoming the first competitor to defend a title in two weight divisions. Putting her women's featherweight championship on the line against the up-and-coming Felicia Spencer, Nunes cruised to that section of the history books as she executed a calculated, five-round dismantling of her latest challenger.

In addition to Nunes' pursuit of history, another notable hook surrounding UFC 250 was gaining some clarification on the future of the bantamweight division on the heels of Henry Cejudo's retirement last month at UFC 249. We ended up receiving some emphatic answers as Aljamain Sterling lined himself up for a title shot with a quick submission victory over Cory Sandhagen, former 135-pound champion Cody Garbrandt flashed his knockout power in ending a three-fight skid and Sean O'Malley reminded them all that he's not that far behind as a legitimate threat.
