Dorothy Louise Robinson, 84, of Trenton, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 9, 2019. She was born Sept. 24, 1935, in Jasper, to Daniel and Ida Pittman. She married Thomas Robinson in 1953, and they were married for 63 years.
Surviving are her daughter, Linda (Danny) Ellis, of Trenton; two sons, Michael (Delane) Robinson, of Trenton and Charles (Penny) Robinson, of Tunnel Hill; three grandchildren, Daniel (Juanita) Robinson, Dane (Stormy) Robinson and Anthony Robinson; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Dorothy’s husband, mother, father, sister, Betty King, brothers, Dan Pittman Jr. and Billy Pittman preceded her in death.
Dorothy was a longtime resident of Trenton and a member of White Oak Baptist Church. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved to sew, and was an avid Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves supporter.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 12 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Moore Funeral Home Trenton. Brother Charles Ellison and Brother Jeff Daniels will be officiating. The burial will be held at Lake Hills Memorial Gardens.
The visitation will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 11 from 4-8 p.m. and on Thursday, Dec. 12 from 9 a.m. until the service hour.
