Police officers were called this morning to a property in Chester over concerns for safety.

Officers were seen on Sealand Road at the corner of Clifton Drive, entering a home.

An ambulance then arrived and entered the property.

Speaking to CheshireLive , it was confirmed that the reason for the emergency service presence was for concerns for safety.

A spokesman for Cheshire Constabulary said: "We were called to the property at 10.20am this morning over concerns for safety.

"An ambulance was also called."
