A WOMAN aged 64 was taken to hospital following concerns for her safety.

At least three patrol cars were spotted at the scene on Sealand Road, Chester, at around 12.30pm on Thursday, December 6.

A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: "At 12.32pm police were called to concerns for the safety of a woman inside a house on Sealand Road in Chester.

"Officers attended and spoke to a 64-year-old woman inside who was taken to hospital by ambulance."

North West Ambulance Service confirmed they had attended the incident. However, a spokesman said she could give no more details as it was a private address.
