GUESTS on the fourth floor of the five-star Chester Grosvenor Hotel were evacuated in the early hours due to an ammonia leak.

Two fire crews, from the city station and Powey Lane, attended the incident on Eastgate Street at around 4.50am on Wednesday, April 3.

It was reportedly sparked by a mini-bar that had leaked and one person had to be treated by paramedics.

No one at the hotel has yet been available for comment.
