Police are searching for a vandal who left unpleasant surprises for several drivers and one store owner this month in the Bridgeport neighborhood.

During the early morning hours, a man has been smearing feces “all over” parked vehicles and, in one case, a storefront window, according to a community alert from Chicago police.

The suspect was described as white/Hispanic or Asian, between 30 and 35 old, 5 feet 10 to 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 180 to 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, a black baseball cap with an emblem, tan pants and white gloves and was carrying a brown paper bag, police said.

Police advise any future victims to not touch anything and call 911 immediately.

The June incidents occurred:

About 4:20 a.m. June 9 in the 700 block of West 30th Street;

Between 4:30 and 5:30 a.m. June 9 in the 3200 block of South Emerald Avenue;

About 4:20 a.m. June 9 in the 700 block of West 30th Street;

Between 5 p.m. and 9 a.m. between June 15 and 17 in the 700 block of West 26th Street.

Police asked that anyone with information about the man responsible or the incidents call Area Central detectives at 312-747-8382.
