Frankfort man dies in Thursday crash on Ohio 28

FRANKFORT – A Frankfort man died in a one-vehicle crash along Ohio 28 on Thursday morning.

According to the Ohio Highway Patrol, 52-year-old Clyde W. Ramsey was driving a 1998 Dodge Caravan west on Ohio 28 near Lattaville when the crash happened about 9:55 a.m. The patrol reported Ramsey's van crossed the center line, went off the left side of the road where it struck an embankment and tree.

Ramsey was taken to Adena Regional Medical Center where he died from his injuries about 1:30 p.m.

Concord Township EMS and fire department assisted at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
