One dead following single-vehicle crash in Frankfort

FRNAKFORT - A one-vehicle fatal crash occurred Sunday on Westfall Road.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, at approximately 5:49 p.m. a 2004 Ford Focus, driven by Larry Herron, 59, of Circleville, was traveling southwest on Westfall Road.

Herron crossed the center line and traveled off the left side of the roadway, striking a fence and a utility pole. He was transported to Adena Regional Medical Center by Medflight.

Herron succumbed to his injuries at the hospital, according to the patrol.

Concord Township Fire Department and EMS assisted on scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
