The search for a missing Northumberland woman whose car was found at a beach is ongoing.

Officers are still carrying out enquiries and patrols in the hopes of finding Mary Fuller, 63.

Mary was last seen at her home in Branxton, near the Scottish Borders, at around 5pm on Saturday.

On Sunday afternoon, police found her bronze Mitsubishi Eclipse at Cocklawburn beach in Berwick-Upon-Tweed.

Police are asking anyone with any information on her whereabouts to get in touch.

A spokesperson for Northumbria Police : "Officers are growing increasingly concerned for Mary’s welfare, and so police are now appealing for help from the public.

"She is described as white, of slight build with grey short hair. She was last seen wearing a green fleece waist coat, green trousers and boots.

"Mary, or anyone who knows her whereabouts, is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 1218912."
